Have you ever taken part in Vinitaly? Do you know how big it is? After ProWein and the wine tour in the North of Italy, it's time to talk about Vinitaly! From 9th to 12th of April, Vinitaly 2017 took place in Verona. I've already shown you Verona in Amarone 2013 Preview. It's a wonderful city! Now I want to tell you something more and show you the video of my experience at Vinitaly. Are you ready? Let's start!
Do you know what's the right temperature to serve a wine? And why it is so important? I wrote this post to share with you one of the fundamental points about wine knowledge. Wine serving temperature is very important! Every wine is different. There are particular characteristics for every wine: aromas and tastes. If you serve a wine at the wrong temperature you cannot appreciate all these characteristics and the wine will not taste as good as it should. You can try to do a simple test: tasting the same wine at two different temperatures, for example 5°C (41°F) and 20°C (68°F). I guarantee that the same wine will taste very different in each case! But now I want to tell you what are the right temperatures to serve a wine depending on its variety. Are you ready? Let's start!
Do you know what ProWein is? Have you ever taken part in it? In March I took part in ProWein 2017. It was my first time at this event and I was left with a very good impression of the fair! Recently I’ve spent a lot of time hanging around wine events, such as Sorgentedelvino LIVE 2017 or Live Wine 2017. What’s more, last week I organized a small wine tour with some friends to discover Barolo and Barbaresco wines (Ba&Ba, an event organized by AIS Piemonte), the North Piedmont (Boca, Ghemme and Gattinara), Valpolicella and Franciacorta regions. I'll upload the video of the tour on my YouTube channel soon. And now, let's go back to the ProWein fair. I want to share more about my impressions, how it was organized, how many wineries took part in it and so on. Are you ready? Let's start!
Lately I’ve been very busy with many wine events as you might’ve seen on my Snapchat or Instagram Stories. I'm just back from ProWein (Düsseldorf), you'll be able to find the post online in the next few days in the blog! Today, I want to tell you something more about Sorgentedelvino LIVE 2017. I took part in it on 13th of March. It was an interesting event about organic, biodynamical and natural wines. I'll publish a post to reveal the difference between organic, biodynamical and natural wines in the "First Steps" section. I invite you to subscribe to my newsletter to stay up to date with the latest articles and to download the Wine Dictionary 2017 for free. Are you ready? Let's start!
